Owner of Integrity Heating & Air: Joe
Salesman: Anthony
Employee's: Zach, Marco, Renato, Butch, Bobby
01.30.2026 Friday 13 Degrees Outside: Met with salesman Anthony at 9:00 AM on 01.30.2026 Signed an agreement only after he stated the work would be absolutely finished the next day on January 31, 2026. He broke that agreement. My brother was in the middle of various serious health conditions as the temperature dropped to record lows in December and January, we needed heat from someone we could trust and had integrity. I did call Integrity Heating & Air several months ago as well as seeing their continuous ads on Facebook, YouTube and Tic-Tok. They looked trustworthy from these social media ads. But I trusted Anthony and Joe the owner, and they have devastatingly disappointed. I now call them No Integrity Heating & Air! I called off my other two large competitor's appointments that day upon him promising our installation on the next day of 01.31.2026. He came into the house and never specked out the house for other details like window leakage, insulation properties and drafts. and neglected to measure the space for the new heating system. They used an app that calculates the square footage from a satellite built around Google Maps or something, but it was wrong. Our house should have been manually inspected as it is an older home with thick stone, porous windows and other factors that determine the most important factor, the J Load Calculation, which determines the most important part of any HVAC Install. He did not want to get his shoes dirty or wet to go down in the basement and take photos and measurements of our oil burner that was down there, the junction box and the label specs on the junction box. Also, he did not want to get a cold stepping in about an inch or two of water around the designated HVAC re-install. He claimed he got sick doing this some moths before, so I did it. Again, no measurements were taken of our existing oil burner we had down there that was only 7.5 years old. I took 4 to 5 photos of it with my cell phone and texted them to Anthony later this day.
01.31.2026 Saturday 26 Degrees Outside: Installers Marco and Renato came to the house today at 11:00 AM. I helped them transport the HVAC system from off their trucks to the back driveway of my house. I wanted the job done right and was willing to help in any way. Did I have to do this? No. Were they professionally prepared to transport the HVAC parts in the snow? No. That was a big red flag, They took out our 7.5-year-old oil burner, which to our knowledge was working fine. It just had to be turned on. The salesmen Anthony never asked about the oil burner and proceeded to tell me to buy the whole unit replacement for $15,200. An Integrity salesman was at our home about a year before and convinced me that adding the heat pump on top of the oil burner would make the most sense. He gave me a price of $10,000. Anthony retorted he underestimated our home's square footage, and he hinted that this salesman was sort of reprimanded. Anthony gave me the price of $15,200.00. In the opinions of other professional HVAC installers, this price was 3 or 4 thousand too high.
Since Anthony never took any measurements of the Heating system we already had in our basement the day before on Friday, Marco and Renato told me they had to stop the installation because there was not enough room at the top for the new install to circulate the air properly. I was very disappointed. They said in order to install the system properly; it would have to be installed horizontally! They did not have the proper parts to do this and had to halt the whole install.
02.01.2026 THIS NEW HVAC SYSTEM BROKE DOWN AFTER INSTALLATION Sunday 13 Degrees Outside: Joe the owner, Zack and Butch came up today to finish the install. They explained that the vertical install was going to be sufficient but put doubt in my mind as a consumer not versed in HVAC. Also, they said it would cost $15,000 more in duct work to go horizontal. Why would they tell me this at this point in the install? If Anthony would have properly measured the unit there would not have been doubt and confusion. They supposedly finished the install about 2 to 3 hours later. They said the HVAC system must run for 2 to 3 days to heat up the whole house since we had not had the real heater on for 3 years. We also never had these extra extremely cold temperatures as we did in the months of December 2025 and the beginning January 2026. This is why they were hired and needed that next day install, which they failed. The extreme weather prompted us to get a new and more efficient heating system installed and get away from the more expensive oil refills every month. Zack had made me sign a tablet signature before they left my house. I asked what it was representing. He stated it was to prove they were at my house and the install was finished. I still had no idea if the system was going to work. I was getting it financed by SERVICE FINANCE COMPANY. It was there go-to company to finance customers. They would not accept cash I was told.
They left I think at about 5 or 6 pm. They had the system operating and instructed us it would take about 3 days to heat the house. We agreed since the system was supposedly installed correctly and I needed the heat more for my sick brother ASAP! As the night went on it was running non-stop. However, we noticed the air coming out of our ducts was not hot, not even warm. We got concerned as the night went on and I thought, let's hang back as the said and let it slowly heat up the house. Then, about around 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM that night, the system shuts completely off. We were very upset and called Joe back. When we got on the phone with Joe, my brother was also in the room. He had had a major life threating operation earlier in the year and he was still recovering and had an upcoming amputation of his toe. I wanted him urgently to have heat before his upcoming procedure, but as we go forward, that was not to become reality. So, he was in an extremely uncomfortable situation with no heat in the house and as executor of the trust he told Joe very demandingly that he wanted the unit taken out of the house as soon as possible. Joe said no, we bought it and we had to pay the over $15,200.00 loan back to the Service Finance Company they use to finance customers. It wasn't even outside of the 3-day cancellation clause period all contracts are under law to abide to. Also, the Service Finance Company needed me to sign off on a Customer Satisfaction Agreement to release the money back to Integrity Heating & Air. There contract stated a 72 hour cancel clause and that did not add up since it was the weekend and Friday would only count for 24 hours. This breakdown of the HVAC unit happened on Saturday and Sunday. I also was told that anyone over 65 has a 7-day return policy. We are both over that age. Service Finance Company has an ongoing record of my complaints and non-satisfactory work completed by Integrity Heat & Air. They were supposed to call me back during this time to go over my case and I never got the call back. I asked the owner Joe if he got paid by the Service Finance Company, he said yes, and then later in my conversation with him was unsure and had to check his accounting department. If they did pay him and his company, that would explain why he is not trying to make this situation right, as we are bending over backwards even though the broke the agreement upfront to have a next day install. Their competitor Horizon, whom was our next appointment at 12:00 PM stated they would do a next day install. I'm now kicking myself for not following through with them and another large company in the area set for 3:00 PM that day also. (01.30.2026)
With being frustrated with what Joe was forcing us to believe, he also said to re-boot the whole system down in the basement. I ended the call in anger and went down to the basement. I was unsure about re-booting the system, as I am not an HVAC tech, but went down anyway. We were freezing! I was mad at the fact that I contracted these guys to put in a new system for a lot of money and now only a day in the house I have to adjust it myself, very maddening! The system then started up again and I went upstairs. I noticed my clothes dryer was no working like it did before Integrity Heating & Air entered our house and changed our junction box wires and added breakers. They had re-arranged my junction box and somehow knocked the power out of our dryer in the laundry room upstairs and it is still not working. Joe said: Why don't you call an electrician? Very insensitive. He mis-handled the fuse box for this to happen, he should fix it!
02.02.2026 Monday 21 Degrees Outside: I texted Anthony the salesman today. I stated," I re-booted both cut-off switches on the blower and condenser like Joe told me to do at around 8:00 PM last night. 2 hours later the outside condenser shut off. 22 degrees outside at that time. Then I turned the whole system off at around 10:00 PM yesterday. Still no heat." Never again did I hear back from Anthony.
02.02.2026 THIS NEW HVAC SYSTEM BROKE DOWN AGAIN, the 2nd time in TWO DAYS Monday 16 Degrees Outside: We kept this new HVAC system running all through this next day. It may have been 23 degrees to start inside the house, and it creeped up to about 40 to 50 degrees by end of day running non-stop.
Then, it broke down again in the evening! I called Integrity Heating & Air. They then had a guy named Bobby Todd coming out the next day between 4:00 and 6:00 PM
02.03.2026 Tuesday 21 Degrees Outside: The Integrity HVAC tech guy Bobby Todd came out and stayed for about 2 hours. He said he checked over everything and told me "Everything looks good. He didn't find anything wrong with the system" We had the HVAC system running all night after Bobby left.
02.04.2026 Wednesday 18 Degrees Outside: The HVAC system was running all day and all night. As we were told by Integrity, the system would run full force for about three days constantly to heat up the walls, the flooring and everything inside since our heater was not turned on for three years. But this was the 4th day and temperature never went above 40 degrees, and the house was way too cold.
02.05.2026 Thursday 14 Degrees Outside: The HVAC system was still running today for 24 hours straight and never turned off. Never went above 40 degrees. My brother had amputation surgery today. The house was still way too cold. This was the 5th day.
02.06.2026 Friday 22 Degrees Outside: The HVAC system was still running today for 24 hours straight and never turned off. It was running up to 50 degrees since it was a little warmer outside. A large BOOM was heard late in the morning. This was the 6th day and the house was too cold.
02..07.2026 Saturday- HVAC system broke down completely and I tried to re-boot the breaker again. Nothing happened; it was dead. 10 Degrees Outside:
The HVAC system was completely off permanently the 3rd time. A large BOOM was heard again late in this morning.
02.08.2026 Sunday 08 Degrees Outside: The HVAC system was off permanently.
02.09.2026 Monday 06 Degrees Outside: We had an appointment with Bobby at Integrity Heating today between 4-6:00 PM. We cancelled that appointment. Also, on this day we called Integrity home office and spoke to Amanda at 4:58 PM. I told her we wanted the HVAC system they installed to be removed from our home.
As we told Joe on Sunday 02.01.26 when it broke down twice that day we wanted this HVAC system out of our house. If you buy a car and it breaks down the twice the second day you own it, then it breaks down for good the third time a couple of days later, you want it gone!! Very frustrating in 6-degree weather, we wanted it out! We didn't want Bobby from Integrity to come back and tinker with it!! We just wanted it removed!! Joe the owner never called back.
02.10.2026 Tuesday 31 Degrees Outside: Tuesday called Integrity Heating home office and spoke to Amanda or Adreana(?) at 1:54 PM. She said they were busy in a meeting and would reach out to me. Never heard back this day.
